Information we collect
Account details you provide (name, email, profile photo), listing content (photos, descriptions, price), messages between members, and transaction records. We also collect limited technical data automatically — device, browser, and general location — to keep the platform secure and working correctly.
How we use your information
To operate the marketplace: creating your account, publishing listings, connecting buyers and sellers through messaging, processing payments, calculating trust ratings, and detecting fraud or abuse. We don't sell your personal information to third parties.
Cookies and similar technologies
We use cookies and local storage to keep you signed in, remember preferences like language and dark mode, and understand how the marketplace is used so we can improve it. You can control cookies through your browser settings; some features may not work correctly if you disable them.
Third-party services
Payments are processed by Stripe, which receives the information necessary to complete a transaction — Good2Reuse does not store your full card details. We use cloud infrastructure providers to host the platform and store data securely, and only share the information those providers need to perform their service.
How long we keep your information
We keep account and transaction information for as long as your account is active, and for a reasonable period afterwards to meet legal, accounting, or dispute-resolution obligations. You can request deletion of your account as described below.
Your rights
You can access, correct, or request deletion of your personal information at any time by contacting us or through your account settings. If you're in Brazil, this includes the rights set out under the LGPD; if you're in Australia, the rights set out under the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth).
Keeping your information secure
We use industry-standard safeguards — encrypted connections, access controls, and secure payment processing — to protect your information. No platform can guarantee perfect security, so please also use a strong, unique password.
Children's privacy
Good2Reuse is not intended for anyone under 18. We don't knowingly collect personal information from children.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as the platform evolves. We'll post the updated version here with a new "last updated" date.
